Procedure

  1. Lubricate o-rings.
  2. Assemble filter as shown on the exploded view.
  3. Push bowl, or bowl with guard, into body and turn fully clockwise.

Tools required

  • Torque wrench

Specs & torque values

  • Screw (Item 2) torque: 2.8 to 3.9 N-m (25 to 35 Inch-Pounds)
  • Nut (Item 41) torque: 2.3 to 2.8 N-m (20 to 25 Inch-Pounds)
  • Screw (Item 43) torque: 1.7 to 3.4 N-m (15 to 30 Inch-Pounds)
  • Baffle (Item 49), Louver (Item 51) torque: 1.1 to 2.2 N-m (10 to 20 Inch-Pounds)
