Champion — Priming the Pump
Operation
From a Champion operator's manual — check it applies to your exact model before use.
Before you start
- DO NOT run the pump dry
Procedure
- Remove priming cap (top) and fill pump body to top of outlet flange with water
- Reinstall priming plug, do not over tighten
- As engine starts, draw of liquid into pump begins via one-way valve
