Champion 100515 — Changing the Engine Oil

For the Champion 100515, from the Champion operator's manual.
Before you start
- Wear protective glasses/goggles and protective clothing when changing hot engine oil
Procedure
- Turn ATS to OFF position.
- Turn engine control module switch to MANUAL position.
- Allow engine to run until operating temperature.
- Turn engine control module switch to OFF position.
- Position drain pan under alternator.
- Loosen hose clamp on oil drain hose and slide off retaining pin.
- Position drain hose into drain pan, allow crankcase to empty.
- Reinstall hose onto retaining pin and reposition clamp.
- Fill engine with proper amount of engine oil.
- Turn engine control module switch to prior position.
- Turn ATS to AUTO position.
