Champion 100304 — Inspect and Clean Engine Air Cleaner

Procedure
- Press OFF on the aXis Controller and remove the fuse; put generator ON/OFF switch to OFF.
- Unscrew the air filter screw cap, remove the air cleaner cover; check gasket condition.
- Remove the paper element/foam filter.
- Inspect the foam filter and paper element for rips or tears; replace if necessary.
- Wash foam filter in liquid detergent and water, squeeze dry, saturate in clean engine oil, and squeeze out excess.
- Hold paper element up to a light; replace if light does not pass through; remove debris from cover and base.
- Install foam filter on paper element and place into the air cleaner base.
- Install the cover, gasket, and screw cap in place.
- Reinstall fuse, restore switch positions.
