Procedure
- Manually start engine and run several minutes to warm up.
- With engine running, close fuel shutoff valve and let engine run until it shuts down.
- Turn engine control module and ATS control module switches to OFF.
- Switch main circuit breaker to OFF (OPEN).
- Turn off utility power to the transfer switch.
- Disconnect battery cables, negative first.
- Change the engine oil.
- Remove spark plug, spray fogging oil into hole, reinstall and tighten.
- Wash and wax exterior of enclosure (no pressure washer).
