Champion 100237 — Changing the Engine Oil

For the Champion 100237, from the Champion owner's manual.
Before you start
- Wear protective glasses/goggles and protective clothing when changing hot engine oil
Procedure
- Turn ATS to OFF.
- Turn engine control module switch to MANUAL and run engine to operating temperature.
- Turn engine control module switch to OFF.
- Position drain pan under alternator.
- Loosen hose clamp on oil drain hose and slide off retaining pin.
- Position drain hose into pan and allow crankcase to empty.
- Reinstall hose onto retaining pin and reposition hose clamp.
- Fill engine with proper amount of engine oil.
- Turn engine control module switch to prior position.
- Turn ATS to AUTO.
