Before you start
- Do not use a pressure washer
Procedure
- Manually start engine and run several minutes to warm up
- Turn fuel shutoff valve to closed and let engine run until it shuts down
- Turn engine control module and ATS control module switches to OFF
- Switch main circuit breaker to OFF (OPEN)
- Turn off utility power to transfer switch
- Disconnect battery cables, negative first
- Change engine oil
- Remove spark plug and spray fogging oil into hole; install and tighten
- Thoroughly wash and wax exterior enclosure
