Caterpillar — Voltage and Frequency Adjustment

Applies to: Caterpillar EUI Engine engine

Procedure

  1. From the MAIN MENU, highlight the CONTROL menu and press Enter. ADJUST SPEED and ADJUST VOLTAGE are displayed.
  2. Press the Scroll Up key to increase voltage or the Scroll Down key to decrease voltage.
  3. Press the Scroll Left key to decrease engine speed or the Scroll Right key to increase engine speed.

Specs & values

  • Voltage can only be controlled if a CDVR is installed and EMCP is version 3.3
  • Speed can only be controlled with an A3 or newer engine ECM
