Before you start

  • Never work on a tractor with an implement attached

Procedure

  1. If possible, always move the tractor to a flat, firm surface
  2. The machine can then be safely raised and will be more stable during track removal and installation
  3. A hard surface also makes it easier to slide the track out from under the machine
  4. Use a forklift if available
  5. Disconnect any implements from the hitch or drawbar
  6. Never work on a tractor with an implement attached

Tools required

  • Forklift (if available)

Specs & torque values

  • Hard, firm surface required
  • Shims for track alignment
