Caterpillar — Procedure

For these Caterpillar models: BRK1-Up, CAL1-Up, CMC1-Up, CNB1-Up, FDN1-Up.

Applies to: Caterpillar Brk1 Up, Caterpillar Cal1 Up, Caterpillar Cmc1 Up, Caterpillar Cnb1 Up, Caterpillar Fdn1 Up

Procedure

1. From the “MAIN MENU”, press the “UP” key or
2. From the “MAIN MENU”, press the “UP” key or
3. From the “MAIN MENU”, press the “UP” key or
4. From the main menu, highlight “Event Log”.
5. Press the “ENTER” key (14).
6. Select an ECM and press the “ENTER” key (14).
7. In order to scroll through the Events, use the “UP”
8. Press “ENTER” after highlighting an event to see
9. Press the STOP Key (10). Enter the “EVENT
10. Select an ECM from the list.
11. Scroll through the event conditions in order to
12. Make sure the condition that caused the event is
13. Press the Enter Key.
14. “RESET” will be highlighted if the condition is no
15. Press the Enter Key again.
16. Press the Escape Key 3 times in order to get back
17. To program the Active State of the Digital Input, go
18. Select the Digital Input that you want to program.
19. Press the Enter Key again. The current
20. Use the Scroll Up Key and the Scroll Down Key
21. Press the Enter Key to save the setting.
22. To program the Active State of the Digital Input, go
23. Once in the Input Function menu, the first setting
24. The next setting is the Suspect Parameter Number
25. After the SPN is chosen, the Failure Mode
26. To program the Active State of the Digital Output,
27. Select the Digital Output that you want to program.
28. Press the Enter Key again. The current
29. Use the Scroll Up Key and the Scroll Down Key
30. Press the Enter Key to save the setting.
31. Select the Digital Selector that you want to
32. Press the Enter Key again. The current
33. Use the Scroll Up Key and the Scroll Down Key
34. Press the Enter Key to save the setting.
35. To program the Active State of the Relay Output,
36. Select the Relay Output that you want to program.
37. Press the Enter Key again. The current
38. Use the Scroll Up Key and the Scroll Down Key
39. Press the Enter Key to save the setting.
40. Select the Digital Selector that you want to
41. Press the Enter Key again. The current
42. Use the Scroll Up Key and the Scroll Down Key
43. Press the Enter Key to save the setting.
