Before you start
- Never operate without air filter in place
Procedure
- Open left service door.
- Remove air filter cover bolt and cover.
- Inspect filter; wash if dirty, replace if damaged.
- Wash with nonflammable solvent or detergent/water mixture; rinse thoroughly.
- After drying, oil filter lightly and remove excess; do not wring out.
- Wipe case and cover, reinstall filter, cover, bolt, and service door.
