Before you start

  • Put caps or plugs on all openings immediately in order to prevent contamination in the fuel system.
  • Mark the clamp for later installation.

Procedure

  1. Remove bolt (1) and the washer that secures the clamp (2) to the cylinder head assembly.
  2. Remove the clamp (2) that secures the fuel injection nozzle (3) in position in the cylinder head assembly.
  3. Install Tool (B) to the fuel injection nozzle at the connection (4) for the fuel line.
