Before you start
- Keep all parts clean from contaminants.
- Be prepared to collect fluids with suitable containers before opening any compartment.
Procedure
- Use Tooling (A) and carefully drill three evenly spaced holes (1) in crankshaft front seal (2).
- Carefully remove crankshaft front seal by alternating position of Tooling (B) from one hole to another.
- Do not damage flange of crankshaft during removal.
- Ensure main lip is used to remove crankshaft front seal. Do not damage edge of housing.
