Before you start
- Ensure the engine cannot be started while this maintenance is performed.
- Hot engine components can cause burns.
Procedure
- Ensure the engine cannot be started and is stopped.
- Measure the inlet valve lash; specification 0.20 mm.
- Measure the exhaust valve lash; specification 0.20 mm.
- Adjust valves per Systems Operation, Testing and Adjusting sequence.
