Procedure

1. Remove the Caterpillar head bolt shown for installation of the Jacobs support bracket.
2. Apply clean engine oil to the threads and underside of the head of the bolt and install the Jacobs support bracket.
3. Reuse the Caterpillar washer and head bolt; center the bracket in the bolt hole clearance and hand tighten.
