Before you start
- Do not fill the fuel filters with fuel before installing them
Procedure
- Remove the used fuel filter and discard it.
- Clean the gasket sealing surface of the fuel filter base.
- Apply clean diesel fuel to the new fuel filter gasket.
- Install new filter; spin until gasket contacts base.
- Tighten one full turn by hand; do not overtighten.
- Prime the fuel system.
