Before you start
- Perform this maintenance with the engine stopped
Procedure
- Loosen hose clamp and remove hose from breather assembly.
- Loosen retaining clamp; remove breather assembly and seal.
- Wash the breather element in clean nonflammable solvent.
- Allow the breather element to dry before installation.
- Install clean dry element, seal, breather assembly, clamp.
- Install hose and hose clamp; refer to specifications for torques.
