Procedure
- Inspect the seals for wear or damage; replace if needed, and put clean engine oil on the seals.
- Put the O-ring seal on the front of the water pump.
- Put water pump in position on the timing gear plate; install bolts and nuts; ensure pump gear and front cover gear are in alignment.
- Put the O-ring seal in position on the rear of the water pump.
- Put the gasket and cover in position on the elbow; install the bolts.
- Install tube on the engine.
- Install the gaskets on the water pump and elbow.
- Put bonnet in position on the adapter; install the bolts.
- Install the clip, and fill the cooling system to the correct level.
