Before you start

  • NEVER SERVICE AIR INTAKE SYSTEM WITH THE ENGINE RUNNING.

Procedure

  1. Loosen and remove the retaining bolts and end cover.
  2. Remove and inspect the element. If damaged, install a new element.
  3. Remove any dirt or debris accumulated on the bottom or sides of the filter housing.
  4. Install the clean element in the filter housing.
  5. Install the cover. Tighten the retaining bolts.
