Before you start

  • Keep all parts clean from contaminants.
  • Cap or plug all openings to prevent fuel system contamination.

Procedure

  1. Remove bolt (1) and washer securing clamp (2) to cylinder head assembly.
  2. Remove clamp (2) securing fuel injection nozzle (3) in cylinder head. Mark clamp for installation.
  3. Install Tool (B) adapter to fuel injection nozzle at fuel line connection (4).
  4. Connect Tool (A) slide hammer to Tool (B) to carefully remove fuel injection nozzle (3).
  5. Remove seat washer from fuel injection nozzle.
