Before you start
- Keep all parts clean from contaminants.
- Contain fluids and dispose according to local regulations.
Procedure
- Use Tool (A) to remove fuel filter (3) from fuel filter base (2) if necessary.
- Remove banjo bolts (1) and copper washers to disconnect fuel lines (4) from fuel filter base (2). Cap openings.
- Remove two bolts (5) and washers securing fuel filter base (2) to air inlet manifold. Remove base from bracket.
- Place fuel filter base (2) on fuel filter bracket. Install washers and two bolts (5).
- Install banjo bolts (1) and new copper washers to connect fuel lines (4) to base.
- If removed, install fuel filter (3) to base. Tighten by hand per instructions; do not overtighten.
