CASE — Aeroquip E-Z Clip Hose Assembly Installation

Before you start

  • Wipe excess oil from nipple and hose
  • Do not reuse E-Z Clip components

Procedure

  1. Cut hose to proper length square to edge.
  2. Install clips onto cut end with same orientation.
  3. Lubricate nipple with compressor oil.
  4. Insert nipple into hose, check gap.
  5. Snap cage into groove on nipple.
  6. Slide clips over cage arms into channels.
  7. Use pliers to close clips.

Tools required

  • Aeroquip hand-held hose cutter
  • Pliers

Specs & torque values

  • Refrigeration compressor lubricating oil
