Procedure

  1. Check the condition of adjustment needle. Replace
  2. Check the choke and throttle shafts for excessive
  3. Replace old components with new parts.
  4. Install needle valve and seat, main jet and float
  5. Gently push float tang down until needle just seats;
  6. Position gasket on lower carburetor section and
  7. Slide in throttle shaft and install plate using new
  8. Install idle adjustment screw, throttle stop screw,
  9. Mount carburetor on intake manifold and install
  10. Mount air cleaner assembly. Connect air intake
  11. Adjust carburetor and governor according to
  12. Install needle valve, main jet, and float assembly.
