Procedure
- 27. Press OFF on control panel and remove 15 Amp fuse.
- 28. Set generator circuit breaker to the OFF (Open) position.
- 29. See Figure C14. Set Digital Multimeter to read AC voltage.
- 30. Connect jumper wire from Wire 4 to battery positive (+) post. Connect another jumper wire from
- 31. Install 15 Amp fuse in control panel.
- 32. Connect one meter test lead to Wire 2, and the other to Wire 6.
- 33. Press and hold MANUAL on control panel to start engine.
- 34. Measure AC voltage across Wire 2 and Wire 6. Referencing the table below, write down the value
- 35. Press OFF on control panel.
- 36. Does unit have half wave or full wave AVR?
- A. Half Wave AVR- Move to step 37.
- B. Full Wave AVR- Move to step 38.
- 37. Half Wave AVR. Proceed as follows:
- A. Leaving battery jumper wires connected, connect one meter test lead to Wire 11A and the other
- B. Press and hold MANUAL on control panel to start engine.
- C. Measure AC voltage across Wire 11A and Wire 22A. Referencing the table below, write down
- D. Press OFF on control panel.
- 38. Full Wave AVR. Proceed as follows:
- A. See Figure C15. Leaving battery jumper wires connected, connect one meter test lead to Wire
- B. Press and hold MANUAL on control panel to start engine.
