Procedure

  1. 6. Verify that the generator circuit breaker is in the OFF (Open) position.
  2. 7. See Figure C3. Press and hold MANUAL on control panel to start engine. Is 240 VAC present at line
  3. A. Yes- Manually cycle circuit breaker. Retest. If problem persists, install new circuit breaker.
  4. B. No- Move to Test 17: Check Alternator Rotor Winding Resistance (step 8).
