Procedure

  1. 26. See Figure A14. Disconnect control wire (Wire 98 on some models) from spade contact at starter
  2. 27. Install 15 Amp fuse in control panel.
  3. 28. Press and hold MANUAL on control panel to crank engine.
  4. 29. Is DC voltage on control wire at starter solenoid equal to or greater than 9.6 VDC?
  5. A. Yes- Install new starter. Retest.
  6. B. No- Repair or replace wiring between starter relay and starter solenoid. Retest.
