Before you start
- Keep all parts clean from contaminants - contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life
Procedure
- Position lock washers onto bolts
- Position bracket onto the flywheel housing in the position noted on removal
- Install bolts assemblies to the bracket, tighten the bolts to a torque of 25 N·m (221 lb in)
- Position fuel filter base onto bolts, install lock washers and nuts onto the bolts
- Tighten the nuts to a torque of 44 N·m (33 lb ft)
- Install fuel filter element if necessary
- Install new sealing washers onto banjo bolts
- Tighten banjo bolts to specified torques
- Turn the fuel supply to the ON position
- Remove the air from the fuel system
Specs & torque values
- Bracket torque: 25 N·m (221 lb in)
- Fuel filter base nuts torque: 44 N·m (33 lb ft)
- Banjo bolt (33) torque: 17 N·m (151 lb in)
- Banjo bolt (37) torque: 12 N·m (106 lb in)
