Before you start

  • Never run the generator without air filter element
  • The safety cartridge cannot be cleaned

Procedure

  1. Release the snap clips and remove the dust trap; clean the trap.
  2. Remove the element from the housing.
  3. Inspect new elements for tears or punctures before installation.
  4. Discard the element when damaged.
  5. Reassemble in reverse order of dismantling.
  6. Inspect and tighten all air intake connections.
  7. Reset the vacuum indicator.
