Procedure

  1. Restriction in a fuel pipe.
  2. Fault in fuel lift pump.
  3. Dirty fuel filter element.
  4. Air in fuel system.
  5. Fault in atomisers or atomisers of an incorrect type.
  6. Fault in cold start system.
  7. Engine temperature is too high.
  8. Incorrect valve tip clearances.
