Before you start
- When DPF regeneration required lamp goes on, take immediate specified action.
- Do not stop engine during enforced regeneration operation, except for unavoidable conditions.
Procedure
- Regeneration required lamp and error lamp go on; regeneration lamp flashes and engine speed changes to 1,350 min-1.
- Close service valve.
- Keep pressing regeneration switch longer than 3 seconds.
- Regeneration required lamp lights off and cleaning exhaust filter lamp goes on; regeneration lamp changes to lighting.
- Engine speed gradually increases up to approximately 2,200 min-1.
- Manual regeneration operation is performed about 30 minutes.
- All lamps go off and it returns to normal engine speed.
