Procedure
- Fill fuel tank and ensure shutoff valve is open.
- Loosen filter vent; on current type filter system close the shutoff valve at the filter header.
- Loosen locking screw on hand primer pump plunger and move clamp aside.
- Move primer plunger back and forth until fuel flow around vent plugs is free of air bubbles.
- Tighten vent plugs securely.
- Reposition primer plunger clamp and retighten locking screw.
- On current filter system, open the shutoff valve at the filter header.
