NH — 4. Remove the main jet assembly and bowl.

Procedure

  1. 5. Remove the float pin and float.
  2. 6. Lift out the fuel inlet valve and unscrew the vaive seat.
  3. 7. Remove the no load adjusting needle.
  4. 8. Remove the throttle plate screws and the plate and pull out the throttle shaft.
  5. 9. Remove the choke plate screws and plate and pull out the choke shaft. ASSEMBLY AND INSTALLATION
  6. 1. Install the throttle shaft and plate, using new sc rews and lock washers. Install with bevel mated to the carburetor body. On plates marked with the letter C, install with the mark on the side toward the idle port when viewed from the flange end of the carburetor. To center the plate, back off the top screw, close the throttle lever and seat the plate by tapping it with a small screwdriver. Then tighten the two screws.
  7. 2. Install the choke shaft and plate. Center the plate in the same manner as the throttle plate (step 1).
