  3. Use JDG478 Driver to center seal housing on crankshaft.
  4. Tighten seal housing-to-cylinder block cap screws to 27 Nm (20 lb-ft); remove driver.
  5. Install JDG477 Pilot on end of crankshaft with socket head screws.
  6. Start seal/wear sleeve on pilot with open end toward engine.
  7. Position JDG478 Driver and tighten nut until driver bottoms on pilot.
  8. Remove tool set from engine.
Install Cylinder Head (Two-Valve Head Engines) repair

⚠ Always use new cylinder head cap screws

⚠ Head gasket can be damaged if head is repositioned on block

Tools: Guide studs, Torque wrench, JT05993 Torque Angle Gauge

  1. Dip fuel supply pump push rod in clean engine oil and install.
  2. Reinstall two dowel pins in cylinder block.
  3. Place new head gasket on block dry (no sealant).
