The engine shut down due to a diagnostic fault
Reverse Power FaultWhen the generator set is in parallel with generators remain magnetically coupled and the generator then drives the engine. Instead of power going OUT, power flows INTO the failing generator.The reverse power relay (RPR) closes its contact across RpR (5 and 6) (line 19) (located on DC Schematic). This causes the engine to shut down. If the generator output breaker is equipped with shunt trip, the generator is taken off line. See the Schematics And Wiring Diagrams section. After the reverse power fault is corrected, the control is reset by turning the engine control switch (ECS) to the OFF/RESET position. Also reset the generator output breaker if equipped with shunt trip.

Replace ECM if this fails to correct problem.Reset and wait 90 seconds. Restart to see if problem re-occurs. If it does, look for possible sources of electrical noise such as loose connections in supply to ECN/4. Install jumper between terminals D and F of the ECM. Reset and start engine.
ECM Display = 07 dLAG, internal ECM programming switch does NOT match programThe 07 dLAG code simply indicates that the setpoint value programmed into setpoint 02 does NOT match the position of the rotary switch.Turn the ECS to the OFF/FESET position Next, turn the ECS to the RUN position. If the 07 dLAG code is still present, the value of setpoint 02 does NOT match the rotary switch position See Service Procedure A.
ECM Display = 08 dLAG, temperature probe problemIf ambient temperature is near -40oC (-40°F) use heaters to warm up the engine before start. If temperature is warmer, check connectors between oil pressure/temperature transducer and the temperature probe.

09 dlAG code, when the ECM sensed oil pressure is greater than 345 kPa (50 psi) and the engine is NOT running.Remove the test harness. If an engine is present, clear it. To clear the diagnostic code, decrease the sensed oil pressure by adjusting potentiometer R and then turn the ECS switch to the OFF/RESET position. Start and run the engine at idle speed. Keep the oil pressure displayed on the ECM low by slowly adjusting potentiometer R. Verify that shutdown occurs when the displayed engine oil pressure is the same as (or slightly less than) the setpoint for idle speed oil pressure shutdown. Verify that the low oil pressure LED, on the ECN4, is flashing.
Low DC Voltage Alarm Setpoint AdjustmentAdjust the low DC voltage alarm setpoint using a potentiometer located under access plug (1) on the rear of the module. Ensure to remove the plug in a dry environment or an air-conditioned area with relative humidity not exceeding 60%. Use a variable DC power supply to set the desired low DCV alarm setpoint between 8 and 38 volts, turn the adjustment pot fully clockwise, wait for one minute, press the acknowledge/silence switch to get a steady low voltage light, then slowly turn the adjustment pot counterclockwise until the LED goes out.
