CodeMeaningCause
057-243Generator Under Volts gives a warning alarm in the event of the generator output falling below the configured Under Volts Pre-Alarm Trip value for longer than the Activation Delay.
057-243Generator Over Volts gives a warning alarm in the event of the generator output voltage rising above the configured Over Volts Pre-Alarm Trip value for longer than the Activation Delay.
057-243Generator Under Frequency gives a warning alarm in the event of the generator output frequency falling below the configured Under Frequency Pre-Alarm Trip value for longer than the Activation Delay.
057-243Under Speed Alarm
057-243Over Speed Pre-Alarm
057-243Over Speed Alarm
057-243Run Away Shutdown alarm is immediately triggered.
DSE2131 ID 0 to 3 Analogue Input A to J HighThe module detected that an analogue input value of a DSE2131 had risen above the Flexible Sensor High Pre-Alarm Trip level.
DSE2131 ID 0 to 3 Analogue Input A to J LowThe module detected that an analogue input value of a DSE2131 had fallen below the Flexible Sensor Low Pre-Alarm Trip level.
IDMT ALARMIf the Over Current IDMT Alarm is enabled, the controller begins following the IDMT ‘curve’ when the current on any phase passes the Trip setting. If the Trip is surpassed for an excess amount of time, the IDMT Alarm triggers (Shutdown or Electrical Trip as selected in Action). The larger the over circuit fault, the faster the trip.Generator current exceeds the trip level and remains above it for a duration that surpasses the set threshold.
IDMT ALARMIf the Over Current IDMT Alarm is enabled, the controller begins following the IDMT 'curve' when the current on any phase passes the Trip setting. If the Trip is surpassed for an excess amount of time, the IDMT Alarm triggers (Shutdown or Electrical Trip as selected in Action). The larger the over circuit fault, the faster the trip.Generator current exceeds the IDMT trip setting and remains above it for a duration that triggers the alarm.
IMMEDIATE WARNINGIf the Immediate Warning is enabled, the controller generates a warning alarm as soon as the Trip level is reached. The alarm automatically resets once the generator loading current falls below the Trip level (unless All Warnings are latched is enabled).Generator current exceeds the trip level.
Mains Earth FaultGenerator earth fault current rose above the Mains Earth Fault Trip Level for the duration of the IDMT function.
Mains Over CurrentMains output current rose above the Mains Over Current Trip level.
Mains Phase Seq WrongPhase rotation of mains was different to configured Mains Phase Rotation Alarm setting.
Over Speed AlarmShutdown alarm in the event of the engine speed rising above the configured Over Speed Alarm Trip value for longer than the Activation Delay.
Over Speed Pre-AlarmWarning alarm in the event of the engine speed rising above the configured Over Speed Pre-Alarm Trip value for longer than the Activation Delay. The Warning is automatically reset when the engine speed falls below the configured Return level.
Run AwayIn the event of the generator output frequency rising above the configured Trip value, the Run Away Shutdown alarm is immediately triggered. This is used to protect against engine damage due to uncontrolled speed increase.Generator output frequency exceeds the configured trip value.
Run AwayImmediate Shutdown alarm triggered when the engine speed rises above the configured Trip value.
Short Circuit IDMT AlarmGenerator output current rose above the Short Circuit Trip for the duration of the IDMT function.
Under Speed AlarmShutdown or Warning depending on configuration: The engine speed falling below the configured Under Speed Alarm Trip value for longer than the Activation Delay.

SymptomRemedy
Emergency Stop indicator LED.Resolve by deactivating (pulling out) Emergency Stop switch.
Low Load indicator LED. • Indicates genset has operated at less than 30% capacity for more than 15 minutes.Resolve by increasing electrical load. If unable to operate genset at more than 30% load, use a smaller generator.
Lug Door Open indicator LED.Resolve by closing lug-box door. If condition remains unresolved, inspect lug-box door safety switch for proper operation.
Shutdown indicator LED.Resolve by resolving shutdown condition.
